Early
Childhood - Settling in for a Fruitfull Fall!

What
an exciting summer in Preschool! We have had lots of summer
fun. The Preschool children had a great time at Family
Fun Night, jumping in a bounce and making crafts. The
kindergarten class had a fun day at Day Camp at White
Mills and we had a lot of Christmas Island fun at VBS.
OCC’s children certainly have been busy about the
business of having a great summer and we have enjoyed
being a part of that fun.

Family Fun Fest '06 |
As
fall quickly approaches and families begin to settle back
into routines of school and such. We too, in OCC’s
Early Childhood area, are settling in for a new season
of teaching. W.E.E. Celebrate and W.E.E. Educate are gearing
up for an exciting fall. We are starting a new year of
curriculum for Sunday morning with lots of great teaching,
crafts and more visits from our friends from “Faithville”.

We are also
very excited about our new programming for Wednesday nights.
Preschool is kicking off its new program called “W.E.E.
Rock” on September 6, 2006. We have been blessed
with a gifted Large Group team that will extend the large
group session with more puppets visits, skits & worship.
The children will also have small group time in the classrooms
where they will have a Bible lesson, craft and snack.
This will be a wonderful time for our Preschoolers to
build relationships with friends and teachers in a relaxed
learning environment.
