Family
Fall Festival
by
Pam LaRocco
It's
new! It will be fun! AND you get to do it with your entire family!
It's the Family Fall Festival. This event is
for preschool & elementary kids and their families.
This
year, Children's Ministry is taking an all-new approach to celebrating
the fall harvest season. The Harvest Party is out! The Family
Fall Festival is in - the new event to celebrate the
season with your family and friends. We'll kick the evening into
action with a Chili Supper and Family Photos (while costumes are
not necessary they will enhance your photo experience – no spooky
or scary costumes please!). After supper you'll get to choose
4 different activity centers – craft, game, movie or food – to
do as a family. This celebration will conclude with OCC's version
of a Snipe Hunt so don't forget your flashlights and pillow sacks.
Since
this is our very first time producing this event we absolutely
NEED your help! We need to you register your family
for the event by October 18. There as absolutely
no way for us to plan and prepare enough food and activity supplies
without pre-registering OCC families and their friends. If you're
family has grown and flown the nest, we need your help too. We'd
love to have you join us and help in the activity centers! You
will get to participate in the festivities as you assist the families.
