Overflow
Live CD
by Brandon LaVelle,
Student Worship Minister
On
July 31st, 2005, over 130 students piled in the youth auditorium
for Overflow, our high school worship service. As always,
that night we worshiped loudly, passionately, and from our
hearts. The only thing that was different was that it was
all recorded!
Worship has always
been a huge part of Overflow (we even named the service
after a Chris Tomlin song called, “Overflow!”).
We wanted to record some of the big songs from the last
2 years that really exemplify what we are all |
|
|
| about. And it just so happens that they are
some of the crowd favorites too! |

On this brand new, live worship
CD, there are energetic songs like “No One Like
You” and “Revolutionary Love”. “Sing
to the King” is an anthemic song for all ages about
Jesus’ triumphant return. Then, there is the title
song, “Overflow”, an honest song in which
we recognize that God has filled us up so completely that
we want it to spill out in our lives and in our worship.
There are 8
songs in all and it is available at the information center
with all of our other OCC CD resources. The cost is $5.
Please pick one up today and “hear the sound of
the generations, making loud their freedom song.”
