Easter
Invitation On Line
by Jonathan Colbert,
Worship Minister
Did you
know that research tells us that 82% of people asked to attend
church on Easter Sunday say yes. That should be encouraging
to you if you are considering asking someone this year.
The odds are in your favor.
We want to help you in this endeavor by providing invitations.
They are available in hard copy form in the lobby. Please
take as many as you can give out. They are also available
on our website. We’ll be explaining today in our service
how to use this to send e-mail invitations to people you know.
The directions are below in case you are not very web savvy.
1 - Open a new mail document in your e-mail software
2 - Compose a brief greeting introducing them to the link that
you are going to put in this document
3 - Log on to www.okolonacc.org You’ll see an
envelope with the words “Easter invitation” next to
it.
4 - Click on this link and it will take you to the invitation
page.
5 - Drag your mouse up to the web browser address line and right-click.
Then select copy
6 - Now go back you your e-mail document and paste the link on
to the page.
7 - Now drop in the names of all the people you want to send this
to and hit send.
Also note that you can open the invitation as a pdf file and save
it to your computer at home. This is indicated at the bottom
of the invitation page.
Let’s get the word
out about our risen Savior!
