Welcome
to the Team

For
the last 9 months we have had the opportunity to invest in the
lives and ministry of Aaron and Jerrica Lee. Aaron has been serving
as our Worship Ministry Intern since last July. It's been a privilege
of mine to mentor Aaron and see him develop as a man of God and
a servant of His Kingdom. Okolona Christian Church has been blessed
by Aaron and Jerrica as they have poured their lives into us and
served with all their heart.
For
the last several months our leadership team and I have discussed
the possibility  of
bringing Aaron on to our staff full time. This past Sunday our
Board of Elders and Deacons approved the hiring of Aaron Lee as
the Assistant Worship Minister here at OCC effective April 1.
We are currently working on a date in which Aaron will be ordained.
He will have general ministerial duties along with the rest of
our ministerial staff. Aaron will focus in three specific areas
of ministry; Vocal, Worship Leading, and Visual Arts (graphic
design on web site, signage, promotions, etc.)
Please
join me in welcoming Aaron and Jerrica as we look forward to how
God will be using them for His Kingdom here at OCC.
