There’s no place like…Home in the Dome”
We were “home” for a weekend (didn’t have to
click our heels) and just had to be open to putting some theology
in our shoes to learn how to improve our walk and our run in the
race!
Several women from OCC joined 12,000 others in the Dome in Indy
and learned how to “Prepare Our Minds for Action”
with Beth Moore, of Living Proof Ministries. We praised our “Solid
Rock”, got to “Taste & See” our Lord, “Adore
Him”, and exclaimed that Jesus should be “My Passion”.
In the latter, a new song, we exalted that “He alone should
be our passion, to the ends of the earth, and to follow…there’s
nothing that I will not do, the song of my soul…heart, life,
love, (mind), my God”.
All of us committed to grab the train of His robe, hear His voice,
and answer, “here am I, send me” (Isaiah 6)! We were
revived to “be holy because He is holy”, noted that
there  is
a “full-scale assault” war on by Satan in seducing
our minds, our culture, and that we need to help each other with
the chips on our shoulders by offering salsa to go with the chips.
We must be warriors, learned, stand up on our beliefs with confidence,
and not suppress the “Truth” we know. We have been
retreating, staying in our little comfort circles. The Holy Spirit
is pouring out, and we have to live out purposefully in pleasing
God, to live off Jesus. We need to think, be different, separate,
be a “coworker for Christ” in the Body, and put off
moods and attitudes. Do you have a mood or an attitude? So did
David, and he wrote songs about his (Psalms). We’ve been
delivered, for “great is His faithfulness, great is His
reward…It all soon will end in joy”! (1Peter 1, Mark
12, Romans 1, Psalm 12, 1Peter3, Hebrews10, Isaiah 1, Hosea 9,
1 Corinthians 3, 2Corintianans 10, Psalm 3, Lamentations 3).
Have a “Selah”* moment, and stop & think! We did!
David had many. WOW, there is no place like “home in Christ”!
* Hebrew word interpreted as a blessing meaning “forever”.
