Harvest Party Thanks

On October 26th, Okolona
Christian Church welcomed the fall season with its Harvest Party.
The Harvest Party has taken some time off for the last 2 years,
but it came back with a bang. Excited children and parents waited
eagerly to come into the Early Childhood and Elementary wings
where a world of fun awaited them.
The Preschool aged children played downstairs in the Early Childhood
wing and the Elementary children went upstairs to their wing.
Each area was filled with games ranging from the cake walk to
the fiery darts. Everyone seemed to have tons of fun as they played
with joy and raked in the candy. Kids were leaving with their
bags full of candy, smiles on their faces, and satisfied parents.
Everyone seemed to be in agreement – it was fun and we were
glad to have it back.
Not only was it fun, it was a great community outreach. Many families
had invited their friends and families to experience the fun.
So, we had a lot of 1st time visitors check out our church through
the Harvest party.
We do want to thank all of the volunteers that made this possible.
If you served at a game, donated a cake, or helped with set up
or tear down – you are all incredible and we could not have
done it with out you. Thanks for all of your help – you
are the reason the Harvest Party was possible.
So, thanks to the volunteers and thanks to all of the guests that
made it possible. It was a great night that will not be soon forgotten.
