K.I.D.S. Celebrate and DIVE

Did you know that God
desires us to be 2-HOUR Kids? It’s true. God’s Word
commands us to worship every Lord’s Day, AND He requires
us to study regularly so that we are able to explain His Word
to others when they ask or have need. In light of that, I’d
like to share with you 2 terrific Sunday opportunities to fill
God’s expectation for us kids.
K.I.D.S. (Kids In Divine Service) Celebrate, OCC’s Elementary
Worship program, just kicked off its 6th year this Sunday with
Extreme Adventures at the 9 am hour. Let’s face it, life
is an everyday adventure. So this year we’ll be roaming
through the scriptures from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22, seeking
information to help us live for Jesus. With every helpful truth
we discover, we’ll worship God for giving it to us through
song, prayer, drama, object talks and Today’s Life Story.
The fun continues as we DIVE into the scriptures for a better
understanding of these truths. DIVE, our elementary education
hour, dovetails with KIDS so our children get the most out of
their day of worship and study. In smaller groups, through interactive
games, projects, and lessons, kids DIVE deeper into the truths
and scriptures presented in K.I.D.S. Celebrate.
So, what are you waiting for? It’s obvious that to be prepared
to serve our Lord, we need both worship and study. Kids, DIVE
in and join us as we Celebrate! Become 2-Hour KIDs for Christ.
