New Senior Minister
This past Sunday, August 21, the congregation convincingly approved
the recommendation from the Board of Elders & Deacons that
Bill Geiger be called as the next Sr. Minister of OCC. 87% of
the 785 ballots received affirmed the recommendation. Your Elders
are confident that God has placed Bill at OCC for “such
a time as this”.
Bill has served as our Minister of Discipleship since August of
2000. Prior to that, Bill served 15 years as the Senior Minister
in Conneautville, Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of Cincinnati
Bible College. Bill and his wife Shirleen have been married since
1981 and have three children: Bethany, Benjamin, and Matthew.
Besides being Bill’s first Sunday as Senior Minister, today
also marks his 5 year anniversary at OCC. Be sure to express your
congratulations, encouragement and prayers to Bill and Shirleen
as he begins his next season of leadership at OCC!
