Production Ministry

Have you ever thought about volunteering for the Production Ministry,
but weren’t sure what areas this involved, and if you were
indeed qualified to help? Here are some of the details:
Sound - We are in need of 4 recruits
for this ministry. The function of the sound person is to mix
the front of house sound as well as mixing the monitors for the
vocalist. No experience is required. (This is
how I started - no experience, just a love for music.)
Detailed training will be provided. The time
commitment is as follows: We are on a 4 week rotation, and during
that week, we have a Thursday night rehearsal, which lasts from
7:30 pm to about 9:30 pm. The Sound Person is expected at the
church Sunday morning no later than 7:45am to mix for both services.
We also have a need for 2 people to mix sound
on Wednesdays for Greenhouse. This requires the individual to
be at the church by 5:30 pm on Wednesday. (This may be where we
do our training for the new Sunday sound people.)
Lighting - Currently we are searching for 4
new volunteers to fill the needs in our lighting ministry.
Our Light Tec’s control the pre-programmed lights during
the service, and will be trained to troubleshoot
any issues that may arise.
Video - Our video ministry is awaiting the arrival
of 15+ volunteers to do a variety of things.
Camera operator - at this time, the person in
this position need not be present during rehearsals, as the camera
shots are coordinated with the Video room “Switcher”,
via our ClearCom headsets.
DDR Operator - this individual works in the video
room and processes the slides, and backgrounds for the screens.
This role requires the operator to attend the Thursday rehearsal
as well as show up Sunday morning by 7:45am
Stage Manager - 4 volunteers are needed,
this is a 4 week rotation. The Stage Manager is a rehearsal and
Sunday morning position. Responsibilities include changing the
batteries in the microphones and monitor packs, marking position
points for vocalists, and cueing guests at the appropriate entrance
time. This position requires a good personality.

All positions listed require a willingness to serve,
and a desire to learn. I will make every effort
to train and motivate our volunteers to give to the Lord with
joy and strive for excellence in serving Him.
