This section outlines how our 5 Strategies
are driven by our Core Beliefs:
Surrender
We Believe:
In One God displayed in three persons- Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
who created all things and is worthy of our obedience.
Jesus is the Son of God who took on human form through a miraculous
conception and virgin birth. He lived a sinless life and voluntarily
died on the cross to pay for the sins of others and offer them
grace. He rose bodily from the dead and will return to judge mankind
based on their response to this grace.
Search
We Believe:
Everything God created was perfect, but when sin entered the world
it distorted this perfect creation.
Sin in our lives separates us from God and the relationship He
intended to have with us.
Relationship can only be restored through the grace offered by
Jesus on the cross.
All people need to accept this grace and restore relationship
to be saved.
Serving
We Believe:
Upon accepting his grace God blesses us with eternal purpose,
giving life great meaning and significance.
Through the fellowship of his people (the church) He not only
coordinates the opportunities to live out this purpose but also
trains us to reach our full potential.
Study
We Believe:
God has revealed His direction to us through the Bible.
The Bible is the inspired word of God and the final authority
on what is to be believed, taught and practiced by the church.
While God's truth can be found in many places, no other writings
have been thus inspired by God.
Support
We Believe:
Upon accepting His grace God gives us His Holy Spirit to support
us in living out His purpose for our lives.
He also connects us with a group of his people who mutually support
each other in spiritual progress.
Sharing fellowship, worship, trials and victories, the local church,
under the guidance of elders and other supportive leadership provides
this essential element in our growth.
