Challenge:
Grades 1 – 2:
Keep a Prayer Calendar for the month of January, marking each
day that you set aside a special time to pray. You must have marked
50% of the days to complete the challenge.
Grades 3 – 5:
Keep a Prayer Calendar for the month of January, marking each
day that you set aside a special time to pray. You must have marked
75% of the days, plus you must know the names of the 3 Bible prayer
characters we studied and relate how prayer worked in their lives
or the lives of others.
Daniel: Prayed every day, 3 times a day.
God rewarded his faithfulness as he
came
out of the lion's den unharmed.
Nehemiah: Prayed powerfully, using God's
Word, about rebuilding the wall
around Jerusalem. The wall was
built!
Esther: Interceded for the Jewish people's
safely by praying , then talking to the
king. Anyone achieving 90% or better
on their Prayer Calendar will receive a
special bonus prize.
