Missions:
Louisville
Bible College and
Cincinnati
Christian University
These Christian
colleges are training tomorrow's preachers, missionaries and church
leaders.
“…the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few”
(Matthew 9:37 NIV).
If we are to fulfill the Great Commission,
then we must train more preachers, missionaries, Christian teachers
and Christian leaders. To help accomplish this goal, OCC supports
three Christian colleges that are committed to that mission.
Louisville Bible College, which is located within five miles of
OCC, has been granted applicant status in the accreditation process
and is developing new on-line courses as well as an accelerated
education program. Charles McNeely was recently called as the
College’s new president, and he has brought new insight
and enthusiasm to the campus. His inauguration will be held in
August.
Cincinnati Christian University, formerly known as Cincinnati
Bible College, has been training Christian leaders for 81 years.
David Faust serves as their President. Under his leadership, they
have recently completed a new Worship and Ministry Center, passed
the 1000 mark in the total number of students, and received accreditation
for teacher licensure in Early Childhood Education.
Presently, we have OCC members attending each of these fine Christian
colleges. Pray that the Lord will continue to use each of these
institutions to train more workers for the harvest.
