Christians need relationships to grow and there are many ways
for adults to meet people at OCC. Fellowship before and after
worship provides a large group environment, but participating
in smaller groups allows relationships to develop further. These
smaller groups may have a variety of purposes such as serving
or study as well as fellowship. For many people, small groups
become one of their primary ways of staying connected and being
cared for in the church family. Here are some ways to develop
this kind of community:
Sunday
Morning Adult Elective Classes provide the opportunity to
meet regularly with a group of people. Because electives run on
a quarterly cycle, after 13 weeks you have the opportunity to
meet a new group of people in a different elective.
Lift
(September - April) is a Wednesday night program comprised
of large group services and small group discussions for adults.
This is our most intentional effort to provide small groups.
Ministry
Teams provide the opportunity to consistently work side by
side with others and develop growing relationships.
Women's
Ministry offers additional study related small groups, service
and fellowship opportunities.
