 Fawn
has been a member of OCC since 2000 and has recently joined the
staff as Administrative Assistant. Before coming to work for OCC,
she worked in direct and retail sales.
Some of her responsibilities include administrative support for
the Children's Director and the Early Childhood Director.
Fawn and her husband Terry have two children - Matthew and Ashlee.
They also have three dogs. Fawn enjoys scrapbooking and genealogy
research.
Jonathan Colbert,
Worship Minister

Jonathan oversees the Worship Ministries at OCC which include
the Instrumental, Vocal, and Drama aspects of worship. He has
been at OCC since May of 1994 and has a Bachelor of Arts degree
in Church Music from Cincinnati Bible College. During his time
there, he traveled with the "Come Alive Singers" and served a
one-year worship internship with Rocky Mountain Christian in Longmont,
Colorado.
He and his wife Kristi have two children, Madison and Brayden.
He's a hardcore Kentucky basketball fan, enjoys long drives in
the car with a great worship CD dialed up to about 90db, caramel
macchiato from Starbuck's, and "science fiction movies that
aren't so far out there that the story could actually be real".
Jesse DeYoung, High
School Minister

Jesse has responsibilities that include the planning and leadership
for our High School Student Ministry. He is a 2005 graduate of
Great Lakes Bible College , summa cum laude, and completed a one-year
internship in the preaching department at Southeast Christian
Church in Louisville . Before that time, he was an intern and
student minister at Kentwood Christian in Grand Rapids , Michigan
.
Jesse's an avid Detroit
Lions fan, but he usually jumps on a successful team's bandwagon
midseason because he can't stand to watch the Lions lose anymore.
He is married to Kara,
who has completed internship in the Missions department of Southeast
Christian. They both share a passion for overseas missions, their
kitten Scout, and LOST. They also enjoy mountain biking and camping.
They don't have any children yet, but Kara says that Jesse is
hard enough to handle for now. Overall, their desire is to see
students grow to be disciples, making God's name great throughout
the world.
Elaine Duncan, Director

Elaine has been a member of OCC since 1964, and has been on staff
since 2001. She is the Director of Business Services of the congregation.
Elaine was a practicing attorney for 29 years, and serves as Assistant
Professor of General Studies at Louisville Bible College. She
holds B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Louisville,
and a M.S.L. (Master of Sacred Literature) degree from Louisville
Bible College.
As Director of Business Services, Elaine oversees accounts payable
for the church, assists with the Forward Through Faith project,
works with the Stewardship ministry to increase stewardship awareness,
and provides legal counsel to the Church. In addition to her staff
responsibilities, Elaine also serves as the Missions Ministry
Team Leader and co-teaches the Encouraging Sisters ABF.
Elaine enjoys reading and spending time at the beach, and she
is an avid U of L basketball fan.
Susan Ehret,
Early Childhood Director

 Susan
has been a member of OCC since 1998. She previously worked
in the field of Accounting but has followed God's leading to work
with the Preschool and Nursery programming at OCC.
Susan feels very blessed to have the opportunity to work with
the little ones at OCC and looks forward to working with the parents
to bring God's word to the children each week. Responsibilities
for Susan include all Sunday and Wednesday programming for OCC's
Preschool/Nursery, from our youngest of God's lambs -
through kindergarten and Vacation Bible School for Preschool aged
children.
Susan and her husband Greg are the parents of three
lovely young ladies, Kellsie, Spencer & Bailey. She
is also the proud owner of two cats, two dogs, two birds and several
fish. Susan enjoys family vacations, time with good friends, the
lake, critters and Preschoolers.
Gale Etherton, Administrative

Gale has been a member of OCC since 2002 and has recently joined
the staff as Administrative Assistant. Before coming to work for
OCC, she was Senior Administrative Assistant for a public accounting
firm.
Some of her responsibilities include administrative support for
the Discipleship Minister, the Evangelism/Outreach Minister, and
the Student Ministry. She also maintains accurate and up to date
records of all members.
Gale and her husband Eddie have five children - Kris, Brittany,
Bonnie, Rachel and Trey. They also have two grandchildren on the
way. Gale and Eddie raise alpacas and now have eleven alpacas
with more on the way. The rest of their animal family includes
2 Great Pyrenees, a Dalmatian, Schnauzer, and 2 cats. Gale enjoys
family vacations, gardening, sewing and taking care of their small
farm.
Bill Geiger, Senior
Minister

Bill has served as the Senior Minister since August of 2005. Previous
to that, he had been the minister of Discipleship since coming
to OCC in August of 2000. He is a graduate of Cincinnati Christian
University and has served ministries in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
Bill feels fortunate
to work with such a fine staff and his responsibilities include
leading staff leadership teams, such as the speaking team and
administration team. He also works closely with the elders in
their efforts of congregational wide oversight and vision.
Bill enjoys a variety of outdoor activities with his family, including
camping and hiking. He and Shirleen have been married since 1981.
They enjoy visits from their two oldest, Bethany and Ben, who
are both in college. And they are glad Matthew is still around
to keep them young.

has been a member since early 2006, and joined the staff in August
2007 as our receptionist.
The responsibilities of her position are to provide a welcoming
presence for those who call and come to our main office, and to
provide general office assistance to staff members.
Tammy is married and has two daughters, Savannah, and Sydney.
She loves spending time with her family and friends, going to
the lake, cooking, making cards, and scrapbooking.

 Jenny
has been a member of OCC since 1996, and joined the staff in June
2003 as an Administrative Assistant. Before her current position,
she was a Church Secretary for 18 years.
The responsibilities of her position are to provide the PowerPoint
presentation for Wednesday and Sunday Worship, track weekly and
monthly attendance statistics, and assist the Senior Minister
and the Worship Minister.
Jenny is married to Chris, and she has 3 sons: Nick, Sean and
James Pedigo. Her other interests are being a Vocal Team leader,
and involvement in the Choir and Praise Teams.
Karen Lane, Preschool

 Karen
has been the OCC Preschool Director and Teacher since August 1997,
and a member since 1986. She has a B.S. in Elementary Education
from Florida State University and taught first grade for 3 years
before starting a family.
Her responsibility is to plan and coordinate the preschool curriculum
and schedule. She also assists the preschool staff in meeting
the needs of their students.
Karen and her husband, Greg have two children, Katie and Matthew.
Her other interests are spending most of her 'spare' time chauffeuring
her children to their tennis and piano lessons and other activities!

 Pam
has been a member of OCC since 1992, and an OCC staff member since
October 1996. Prior to joining the staff of OCC, Pam was a full
time mom for 16 years and a Medical Technologist for 6 years.
Pam's responsibilities include all Sunday and Wednesday programming
for OCC's children, ages 2 - through 5th grade and Vacation Bible
School.
Pam and her husband Joel have 3 children.
Aaron Lee, Assistant

Aaron joined the OCC staff
in July of 2007 as a Worship Intern, and has gained a lot of experience
that he is now able to use in his current position of Assistant
Worship Minister.
He is a Kentucky Christian
University graduate, with a Contemporary Worship Degree (walking
in May of 2008). During his time at KCU, he traveled with Destiny,
a 12 person vocal ensemble, and also traveled as a summer Camp
Team Leader.
Aaron will focus on three
specific areas of ministry: Vocal Team Oversight and Trainer,
Mid-Week Worship Leader, and OCC Graphic Designer.
Aaron and his wife Jerrica,
were married in June, 2007. They are passionate :”LOST” and “24”
fans, along with being English Bulldog lovers. Aaron also LOVES
the 1969 Mustang.
Harold Mahan, Production

 Harold
Mahan has been a member of OCC since 1997, and through the grace
and guidance of God, he became the Production Arts Director in
August of 2005. Harold has been one of our Front Of House Sound
people since the beginning of 1997. Before coming to work here,
he worked for Trans World Entertainment (fye) for 15 years. Harold
became a legend in the Okolona area, especially when he founded
All About Music DJ Service. He has been a Professional mobile
DJ since 1996 (he rocks!!!).
Harold's
responsibilities include recruiting, training, and motivating
people to run and maintain all Sound, Lighting, and Video equipment
in the main sanctuary. He says he can always use some volunteers
in these areas.
Harold and his wife, Anne Marie, have 6 awesome
children - Paul, Timmy, Maria, Katie, Aaron, and Benjamin. Harold
loves, his wife, children, and Pizza.

Maynard, Middle School Minister

Jon has been a member of OCC since
2001. He graduated from Berea College with a Degree in Religious
Studies in 2000 and received his Masters in Teaching from the
University of Louisville in 2004. Before coming on as a staff
member at OCC, Jon was a teacher in the Jefferson County Public
School System. As the Middle School Student Minister, Jon's responsibilities
include the planning and execution of “UNITED”, the
student worship service, the creation and implementation of curriculum,
and the planning of fellowship and service opportunities for students.
Jon desires to see the students of OCC invested in the work of
God's Kingdom.
Jon has been married to his wife Karen since August of 2000. They
enjoy being in nature and being active. They believe they have
one of the best dogs in the world and will often be seen teaching
it strange, but entertaining behaviors.
John Parkey, Discipleship Minister

came to OCC in 2000 as the Student Minister, and is now our Discipleship
Minister. He has a BA from Johnson Bible College in Biblical
Studies.
His responsibilities include being a part of the preaching/teaching
team, overseeing the mid-week "LIFT" programming, small
groups and adult education.
John and his wife Valerie, have two children, daughter Riley and
son Beau. His other interests are playing basketball, fishing,
and playing cornhole.

has been an OCC member since 1979 when he became engaged to his
wife Sherry, who was “born and raised” at OCC. His
home church is Southeast Christian church in Louisville. He graduated
from St. Xavier high school and has marketing and accounting degrees
from the University of Louisville. John served as an elder prior
to joining the OCC staff. Over the years he has enjoyed serving
as a youth leader, ABF teacher and instrumentalist in the worship
band.
Currently, John’s role centers on the day-to-day operations
of the church. This involves relieving the ministers of administrative
headaches and providing strategic and operational direction to
the staff. Prior to becoming Executive Administrator, John spent
25 years working in the banking, insurance and restaurant industries.
John is blessed in his marriage to Sherry. They have two great
kids, Lindsay and Jordan. Lindsay is married to Jon Renner and
both attend OCC. Jordan is the artist and musician in the family.
He attends Western Ky. University pursuing an Art degree. John
enjoys time with his wife and family, playing music, and time
“at the farm”.
Janet Teensma, Publications

 Janet
has been a member of OCC since 2002 and joined the staff in July
2003 to be in charge of Publications. She was formerly a Travel
Agent, with responsibilities of Marketing and Outside Sales Manager.
She also has been self-employed doing desktop publishing for small
businesses (JET Publications).
Her responsibilities at OCC are: to design, publish, and send
church publications, prepare the weekly church worship bulletin,
OCC Online Update, brochures, and any all-church information.
She is also the website administrator.
Janet and her husband, John, have a daughter and son-in-law, Tiffany
and Wayne Coghill, and a step grandson, Christopher Coghill, in
Atlanta. Janet's other interests are the Women's Ministry of OCC,
and Traveling.
