Summer Schedule 2005:
SUNDAYS.......
Children
Our nursery, preschool, and elementary programs offer a
warm, nurturing atmosphere and are well supervised. Your child
will be much happier with our caregivers than in the worship
service. Those seated around you will appreciate your thoughtfulness.
Early Childhood

Nurseries available for crib, crawler, toddler, tot, and visitors.
“Wee Celebrate”
Children’s Center, 1st floor
At 9:00 am to 10:15 am, we offer a time of worship for preschool
children. This is an opportunity for preschoolers to learn about
Jesus through puppets, music, drama and interactive Bible Stories.
Bible School
Children’s Center, 1st floor
Preschool children are invited to attend Bible classes at 10:45
am to 12:00 noon.
Elementary
“K.I.D.s Celebrate!”
Children’s Center, 2nd floor
Children in Grades One through Five meet at 9:00 am to 10:15
am every Sunday to worship in their own style! This is an opportunity
for kids to learn about Jesus through puppets, drama, music,
and videos.
“DIVE”
Children’s Center, 2nd floor
An opportunity for children in grades 1 - 5 to further explore
God’s word through bible lessons and activities at 10:45
am in the Children’s Center, 2nd floor.
Middle School
(grades 6-8)

There are several worship and learning opportunities for
our Middle and High School Students. Other special activities,
retreats, and service projects are offered throughout the year!

Adult Elective Studies
A listing of our current round of electives is available at
the Information Center. We have classes at both the 9:00 am
and the 10:45 am hours. Feel free to join one at any time.
Evening Chapel Service
Chapel is a traditional service that meets Sunday night at 6:00
pm in the Fellowship Room. This sum mer Mike Perkins is leading
us through a study of Jesus’ parables and miracles.
WEDNESDAYS...
Adults
Faith Lessons
7:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Fellowship Room, beginning May 11
This summer we will study the third and final segment in a series
that has taken us through the lands of the Bible over the last
two summers. Weaving together the Bible’s fascinating
historical, cultural, religious and geographical contexts, this
study reveals insights into the Bible’s message for modern
believers. Following the twenty minute video presentation, there
will be a lesson and guided discussion time led by several of
our leaders and instructors. This summer’s 12 week study
is a compliment to chapel as it visits the locations of the
life and ministry of Jesus. There will be no children’s
or youth programming or nursery available during this study.
It will conclude July 27.

Men’s Ministry
Bible Studies this summer will focus on the book of Philippians.
We meet the second Saturday of the month at 8:00 am, and have
the study again on the following Tuesday at 7:00 pm.

Women’s Ministry
Summer Bible Studies begin the week
of June 12 with a choice of 2 topics. You may register for:
“Mothering Without Guilt”, or “Becoming a
Woman of Beauty and Strength”
Rest, Renew, and Revive, August 1,

An evening of fun for women to come together and meet new friends;
catch up with familiar friends; or just have a night off from
the responsibilities at home.
