United
United
is a worship service specifically aimed
for Middle & High school students (grades 6 -12).
We meet Sunday mornings on the 2nd floor of the Children's Center
at OCC at 10:45 am. This is a place where students
can feel comfortable worshiping God in the ways that they
want to. It is cutting edge, loud, foggy, and very cool. That's
why we encourage students to invite their Christian and non-Christian
friends.
The United
experience includes moving worship led by our own middle &
high school band, a life-changing message, the sharing of communion,
and incredible testimonies, dramas, videos and more. If you've
never been before, you definitely need to come check it out and
worship our awesome God with us on Sunday mornings at United
.

Schedule -
Current Theme:
"Barbarians: A Life Worth Living"
What
would it be like to live like a barbarian? The freedom, the pillaging,
the overall lack of personal hygiene - It is clear that the life
of a Barbarian is extremely exciting. Today the Church faces a
dilemma. We have allowed the world to define the characteristics
of a Christian. We have our own clothes, music, movies, TV channels,
& colleges. We essentially have our own boxes that we are
told to fit nicely into. Is this our fate, to play into the hands
of the one Christ came to destroy? By discovering the Barbarian
within, we can begin to live freely without any desire to fit
into this world's boxes.

Upcoming Theme:
"Epic: Writing Our Story"
Odysseus,
Homer, Frodo . . .all of these people had epic lives. Why should
it be any different for us? Christ wants our stories to be big.
Filled with awe and wonder, He wants them to be epic. However,
it is important to understand that even though we are the main
characters of this story, we are not the authors. In order for
our stories to be Epic, we must submit to the One who holds the
pen.
