What
to expect when you visit OCC . . .
Where you can
find us:
We are the large church
on Preston highway, with the green windows. We are south of the
Gene Snyder, and north of Wal-mart and Kohls.
Where you enter
the parking lot (see map of property link above
right) :
Turn east on Mt Washington
Road, go about a 1/4 mile, our entrance is on the left.
Which door to
go in (see floor plan link above right):
Enter at door #1 or
door #2 to go to the main auditorium. You may wish to enter door
# 3 if you have nursery, preschool, or elementary children. This
will take you directly into the children's wing. They can then
direct you to the main auditorium after you drop off your children.
Lobby:
This area is outside
the auditorium, and includes the Information Desk, where there
are people happy to answer your questions. Brochure racks with
information about different area of interest are available here.
Auditorium seating:
You may either be seated
on the main floor, or you may access the balcony via the elevator,
or the stairs at the north end of the lobby area. Whether you're
a front and center person or would rather slip in unnoticed toward
the back, we have a place for you. Our large video screens provide
a close-up view no matter where you choose to sit. Ushers and
greeters are available to guide you. Just ask them if you need
any direction. Parents also may have peace of mind knowing that
your child's number will be flashed at the bottom of these screens
in case your child needs you. This number will be given to you
when you leave your child with the children's ministry team.
What to expect
at the worship service:
Music:
Contemporary music, including OCC band and praise team, occasionally
joined by the OCC orchestra and choir. The service also includes
relevant multi-media & drama.
Message: You can
expect to experience practical teaching from the Bible that deals
with our everyday life.
