Kentucky Blood Center (KBC) is a nonprofit, independent community blood center not affiliated with any other blood bank. KBC has grown from a small blood bank into a regional blood center and processing facility serving nearly 70 medical facilities across the state. Hospitals have relied on KBC for more than 50 years to provide lifesaving blood to Kentuckians in 90 counties. Unlike other blood banks in Kentucky, blood donated at KBC stays in Kentucky for Kentucky patients at Kentucky hospitals. Their staff, registers, screens, collects blood, and ensures each donor is given a stellar experience. Help save a life by donating blood!
