Researchers recently asked fifth graders what job they wanted to have when they grew up. The number one choice? Social Media Influencer. But when the researchers asked those kids what they wanted to influence their followers to do, most of them had no answer. Some of those kids are laser-focused on helping people improve their Fortnite skills.
We know you don’t have to be famous on YouTube to influence people. Everyone influences someone. For good or bad, our daily interactions with people shape their desire to either live like us or to live nothing like us. That’s influence.
Jesus is arguably the most influential person in history. His words from 2,000 years ago still shape our world today. And when we consider that Jesus had no marketing campaign, no social media manager, no international platform, and no political stage, his influence is even more remarkable. What was Jesus’ secret?
