We’ve all heard it—or done it: casually mentioning a name to gain credibility or open a door. Name-dropping borrows someone else’s influence to elevate ourselves.

But the earliest Christians dropped a name for a different reason. In this series,Name Dropping, we’ll see ordinary followers of Jesus boldly proclaim the one name that truly has power—the name of Jesus. Through healing, opposition, courage, and worship, we’ll discover that the church’s power has never been in its people or strategies, but in the risen Christ.

This series invites us to consider whose name we’re really elevating—and what it looks like to live in a way that honors and makes Jesus known.
