Acts Season 3

What happens when ordinary people are willing to follow Jesus wherever He leads—even when the road gets difficult?  How do we respond when obedience costs us something? How do we keep going when following Jesus gets hard? What do we do when God’s plan looks nothing like our plan? And what happens when we stop seeing ourselves as spectators and start seeing ourselves as participants in God’s mission?

In our next series, Acts: Season Three we return to the story of the early church for the final stretch of our journey through Acts.  We’ll learn that Acts is not simply the story of what God did back then: It is the story of what God is still doing now.  The Book of Acts reminds us that the gospel was never meant to stay in one place or belong to one people. Jesus is building a church that crosses boundaries and carries His good news to the ends of the earth. And as we watch the early church live out that mission, we are invited to see our place in it, comforted by the fact that the mission of God does not depend on perfect circumstances or perfect people.
